EVGA How to: Set up SLI & PhysX

EVGA has posted a nice and simple instructional video on how to setup a dedicated PhysX card to work along with your SLI setup. The video shows how to install two video cards in SLI along with the dedicated PhysX card on the SLI enabled motherboard and then how to enable SLI and the dedicated PhysX card in the NVIDIA control panel from within windows. Hardwareforyou.it has posted a really nice and in-depth, 10 minute long video to YouTube with detailed steb-by-step instruction on how to setup a hybrid PhysX system if you are running an ATI card as your main graphics renderer and want to install a second NVIDIA video card and use it for PhysX. This is a general guide to understanding how Nvidia Multi GPU and PhysX processing works. This guide will be divided into 3 Parts.

Introduction: With the introduction of PhysX. A whole new way to use your GPUS beyond traditional SLI rendering has come about. Here we will go over turning PhysX on, Setting PhysX devices, and how individual SLI and multi GPU configurations will work as a PhysX rendering setup.

Enable GPU PhysX: In order to utilize GPU PhysX. The driver must be turned on to have it enabled. To do this simply enter the SLI and PhysX tab and select enable PhysX. This will turn your GPU into a PhysX device. If you do not have this enabled. All GPU PhysX games will fall back to CPU PhysX.
