Dark Void GPU PhysX Comparison Video

Zogrim over at PhysXinfo.com is at it again with another awesome PhysX comparison video, this time for the PC version of Dark Void that has implemented some impressive PhysX effects including PhysX Turbulence effects which are the first time it has been implemented into a game. Like usual the PhysX comparison video does a side-by-side comparison showing what the game looks like with PhysX turned on and PhysX turned off giving you a good idea of exactly what PhysX brings to the game and the difference it makes.

As you can see from watching this PhysX comparison video the PhysX Turbulence Smoke effects that the rocket pack gives off along with the PhysX particle effects that the weapons cause definitely adds to the game and makes a huge difference after seeing the PhysX implented into the game. Just like Batman Arkham Asylum this game will definitely look a lot better on the PC compared to the console version of the game that do not support these advanced PhysX effects. Aside from that it is also good to see another game take advantage of GPU PhysX and use it in a way that really adds to the game look and feel.

Be sure to check out PhysXinfo.com for more PhysX information and the Dark Void PhysXinfo.com information page for more PhysX info about Dark Void.

New Dark Void PhysX Screenshots Released, Benchmark Coming Soon

The Dark Void page over at nzone.com has been updated with a bunch of newscreenshots showing off the PhysX that will be implemented into the game. Also interesting to note is that under the download section it says “Benchmark Coming Soon”. Hopefully this will be a nice PhysX benchmark we will be able to play around with as we were dissapointed with the recently released PC demo for Dark Void that did not have support for GPU PhysX and the PhysX effects that will be exclusive to the PC version. Check out the screenshots below or at the nzone.com Dark Void information page. We also embedded the recently released Dark Void PhysX trailer at the bottom so you can see what these PhysX effects look like in action.

Here is the Dark Void PhysX Trailer showing what these effects will look like in action:
