Sapphire ATI Radeon 5870 + 9800GT Hybrid PhysX setup Video

youTube user juggolo has posted a nice video showing his Hybrid PhysX setup using a Radeon 5870 along with a 9800GT for dedicated PhysX. He shoes off his system then GPU-Z and runs PhysX fluidmark and 3D Mark vantage to prove his dedicated PhysX card is indeed working to process the PhysX calculations along with the 5870 as the main renderer, check it out below.

Sapphire 5870, bios modded, with physx, and stock Vantage score:

ATI + Dedicated PhysX Card Hybrid Video Setup Guide

Hardwareforyou.it has posted a really nice and in-depth, 10 minute long video to YouTube with detailed steb-by-step instruction on how to setup a hybrid PhysX system if you are running an ATI card as your main graphics renderer and want to install a second NVIDIA video card and use it for PhysX. Check it out below.

from Hardwareforyou.it:

Despite the blockade with the latest nVidia drivers that prevent the use of PhysX in the system are detected if non-nVidia cards on some forums there is a guide on how to patch the drivers to use PhysX with an ATI card. Our video will be a testimony that the block from nVidia did not do anything other than to damage the same company.

ATI Radeon HD 5870′s In Crossfire With XFX 9500GT Dedicated PhysX Card

YouTube user nascasho has made a really nice video showing off his sick setup with 2X ATI Radeon HD 5870′s in Crossfire mode with a 9500GT for dedicated PhysX. The video starts by showing off his hardware setup then moves to his desktop where he shows that PhysX is enabled on the system, then he fires up Unreal Tournament 3 and plays one of the PhysX levels using the PhysX mod patch to show that PhysX is working the correct way while his main graphics renderer is the HD5870 Crossfire cards. Check it out below and be sure to check out his YouTube channel.

If you have an ATI card and want to use a separate NVIDIA card for dedicated PhysX so you can use and play all the latest PhysX games check out the how to guides we have posted about here:

How To: Run PhysX in Windows 7 with ATI Cards
Guide: Enable ATI + Nvidia PhysX On Single Monitor
How to set up Hybrid PhysX: Radeon HD5870 + GeForce GTX275 (PhysX)

From YouTube:

Got bored so decided to try PhysX with my card to see how it would run. To my surprise it works quite well so I decided I’ll just post a video of it running for you peeps.

Drivers used is the 195.62 WHQL’s w/ Catalyst 10.1 WHQL’s

Card used dedicated for PhysX was an XFX 9500GT (just so happened to be the same company as the 5870′s)

Setup Discussion: Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity with EVGA GTS 250 Dedicated PhysX Card

We posted before about a cool video that YouTube user ethr95awd made showing his ATI Eyefinity setup which consists of a single Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 connected to 3 monitors for Eyefinity and a single EVGA GTS 250 video card for Dedicated PhysX. He then runs the Batman Arkham Asylum benchmark with PhysX turned on showing some PhysX awesomeness on an Eyefinity setup, check it out here in cased you missed it. ethr95awd has now made another nice video about this same setup but instead of running the benchmark he discusses what he had to do to get Eyefinity working correctly with a dedicated PhysX card, he also shows off his nice system he has setup for this, check it out below and be sure to visit his YouTube channel here.

New video disccusing what he did to get Eyefinity and PhysX running together:
