At the recent AcGI event a new video of the Biart’s biEngine was released to YouTube. biEngine is the technology behind U-WARS, tactical shooter with GPU PhysX support, slated for 2010 release. The video shows impressive and intense physics based destruction and game play going on. People continue to say PhysX is worthless and just eye-candy, imagine playing a FPS that looks just like it does in this demo video? I think people will quickly change their mind about PhysX and what it can bring to games.
U-WARS is a sci-fi tactical shooter for PC and Xbox 360 with the action taking place in the near future. The local conflicts are growing into larger ones, spreading the terrorist threat and tensions around the globe.
The player will take command of an elite group, accomplishing covert operations both on land and underwater.
Key features:
– First action game for PC/Xbox 360/PSP with realistic underwater combat
- Next generation graphics using DirectX 10
- Physics using NVIDIA PhysX technology, with GPU acceleration on the PC platform
- Highly destructible environments
- Immersive storyline with expressive characters
- Huge choice of tactical equipment, weapon, vehicles including jetpack suits and submarines!
- Variety of multiplayer modes via Xbox Live!
